Robert W. Wyss, 72, of Janesville passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Robert was born in Janesville on October 12, 1941, the son of Walter and Elizabeth (McLean) Wyss. He married Glendeane “Pat” Laws on June 22, 1963. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2003. Robert was employed by Janesville Products for 32 years prior to retiring. He was a former member of Moose Lodge # 197. Robert’s enjoyed playing slot machines, bowling and watching stock car racing.
Surviving are five children, Robby Wyss of Beloit, Brian (Kari) Wyss of Janesville, Bradley Wyss of Janesville, Michelle (Robert) Wittemeyer of South Beloit, IL, Melanie (Ron) Wobig of Janesville, 10 grandchildren, Ashley (Mike), Anthony, Caleb, Danielle, Taylor, Nathan, Nolan, Addisyn, Savannah and Ayla  sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patti Wyss, Richard Laws, Becky (Chuck) Hayes, Denny Laws, Rollie Laws and Sherrie (Stan) Rulestad. In addition to his wife and parents, Robert was presided in death by his brother, Richard Wyss.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville with Pastor James Melvin officiating. Burial will folow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 10th at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home.
